What is the Overrun Buffer?
The Overrun Buffer provides a 15% presentation grace window on Pro and Ultra plans. If an active session runs slightly longer to answer attendee questions, Aura will conclude naturally without abrupt disconnection.
How does annual billing work?
When you select annual billing, you receive an immediate 20% discount on all paid plans. Pro is $47/month (billed $564/year) and Ultra is $639/month (billed $7,668/year).
What happens if I exhaust my monthly session quota?
If your monthly session quota or minute pool is completely utilized, creation endpoints return HTTP 402 Payment Required. You can upgrade your tier instantly from your Host Dashboard or via the Developer API to continue creating sessions.
Can AI agents upgrade and subscribe autonomously?
Yes. External AI agents can initiate checkout via POST /api/v1/agent/checkout using their API key, returning a secure payment mandate or Dodo checkout URL.
Are payments secure?
Yes. All payments and subscriptions are processed through Dodo Payments (Merchant of Record). Seminara never stores credit card information on internal servers.
Do unused sessions roll over to the next month?
No. Quotas reset at the start of each billing cycle to ensure dedicated WebRTC voice and GPU resources are reserved for active hosts.
